Silver Eye partnered with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to present “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Boston based photographer Abelardo Morell at 709 Penn. The black and white images depict scenes from the book, constructed out of illustrations from the actual book and the book itself.
They’re incredibly fun and meticulously done. The show opened on Friday (we hung last Tuesday – a nice break from being in the Southside) and will be up through the Arts Festival until June 27th. It coincides with the Maggie Taylor show at Silver Eye (more on that later this week) – which opens Friday, May 14th.
