Cross the Way

Over That Way, Where The Lights Are On; Ardara and On, 2011                  © Magali Duzant 2011

I’m on a Feelies kick, not sure why. I went to see an exhibit of the original Curious George illustrations at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. The show was very small but the images were lovely to see in person. There was another show called, “Black Sabbath: The Secret Musical History of Black-Jewish Relations.” The only thing I could think was – Lenny Kravitz. Which made me laugh out loud. Then I started imagining a whole exhibition devoted to Mr. Kravitz – his prayer beads, his shades, a chronicle of his different hairstyles. Yeah. That’s where my mind is at.

Moscow Nights – The Feelies and Meet Me In The City – Junior Kimbrough (The Black Keys do a pretty great cover)
