Looking Forward; Giving Back was great!

Image

Check out this incredibly blurry documentation from the benefit auction last night. The turnout was impressive and the work knocked my socks off. Such a great night, with a wonderful group of people.

Looking Ahead…to Boston!

This coming June I will be part of a group show, entitled Small Prints, curated by Jon Feinstein and amani olu of Humble Arts Foundation, as a part of the Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward Festival in Boston. Here’s a sneak peek of the line up: 50 artists, 50 prints that encourage an intimacy with small, personal photographs. I’m incredibly excited to be showing with such talented photographers!

If You’re In Pittsburgh…

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I have two photographs up at The Framesmith on Murray Ave. in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh,PA.  Michael Ninehouser, a great painter and framer and hilarious short story writer (?!)…filmmaker…wearer of good glasses (he does it all), sent me these photos as proof. Work by Mike and Jamie Adams is in the window (seen in the last picture).

Fresh Work: Kala Artists’ Annual

This Thursday night is the opening reception of the Kala Artists Annual, entitled Fresh Work. The opening runs from 6-8pm and should be a fun time. I am exhibiting one piece from the series Ardara and On. I almost killed myself trying to get it ready for the show – an extreme case of Murphy’s Law? In other words, you should come see it! Hope to see you there!

December 15th, 6-8pm
