I’m trying out some new images with the slide pieces. I’m becoming more and more interested in the process of collecting and organizing; assigning subjects and topics; creating groupings etc. I’m also intrigued by multiple uses for the images – projections as I have been making, collages, maybe video?
I just added a series of 4×6″ prints to the collection over at Collector Art Shop in the Elmwood neighborhood of Berkeley. They are from a series of landscape photographs I have been making when traveling. They are archival inkjets printed on a cotton rag paper and come in editions of 50. If you can’t make it over to Collector I will be posting them to Etsy within the month or you can contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Check out the trailer for this amazing documentary showing this weekend at IDEO headquarters.
From the website, “Last May California announced plans to close one quarter of their 278 parks,
a devastating move that is intended to save the state a mere $22 million per year. The closure list includes thousands of acres of park land, recreation areas, wildlife reserves, and 50% of the state’s historic parks. By July 2012 Californians will be bereft of 70 magnificent natural parks.”
